Finished Size: 12″ x 8″

Supplies: 3.5 mm (E) Hook.  Patons Grace (1 skein each) in colors:  Amethyst, Bark, Snow, Spa Blue, Clay and Wasabi.  9, 1″ buttons.  Darning needle. One, 2″ button.

Three cheers for my first crochet project!  When I first started this project I literally had no idea how to crochet.  A friend at work spent her lunch break teaching me how and it was then I was hooked (hehe – pun intended).  Approximately 35 flower tiles make up the body of this bag.  In the end, it was taking me about 15 minutes to make one.  The seaming was a little tedious, but I got over it once I saw how rediculously cute the finished product was!  The lining was super easy as well.  Since the bag is flat, I just had to measure the fabric to the size of the bag and then fold it in half.  I sewed it all by hand and it took me about 30 minutes to complete.
